December 2018

Welcome to the final FFA Newsletter of 2018!

With Christmas fast approaching this edition takes a peek at some of the festive events that clients have been enjoying, as well as setting up your possible new goals with a little science behind shedding that unwanted fat. We look at the role of fat-busting hormones as well as the highly publicised fat-burning zone in this month's featured blogs.

It is also time for joy and cheer, time to reflect upon 2018 and to look ahead towards 2019. FFA is always striving to see what we can do better to assist you in your goals and we welcome your input at all times. So please let us know your thoughts if you have any.

FFA hopes that this festive season provides you with valuable and quality time with family and friends. Total wellbeing is key and balance is essential in this, refuel and recharge the right amount of energy, listen to your body so we all can take charge and tackle 2019 even better.

There was definitely a festive theme to many of the running events this month as well as a great opportunity to give back to some very worthwhile charities. On the 8th December Matt and Monika (pictured) did a 5K Santa Dash at Battersea Park. This fun event attracted over 2000 runners/walkers and children all raising vital funds for the Royal Trinity Hospice.

The Lakhani family (including clients Rajeev, Priya, Nayana and Mukesh) also joined in the festive fun attending the Christmas Olympic Park 5K Santa Run London. Their family member Shyam completed the 10K Santa Run, all proceeds went to charity.

Well done to all that took part and raised money for charities!

Thank you to everyone for your support in 2018, it has been a very busy year.
